The shipbuilding industry has huge dimensions and thick plates for components such as hull outer panels, which require bending them into complex three-dimensional surfaces and leveling and correcting large welded parts.
Surface forming: Using a hydraulic press with an extremely wide worktable and a dedicated surface mold, thick steel plates can be slowly and accurately bent to form a ship hull surface that meets design requirements.
Straightening correction: After segmented welding, ship components are prone to deformation. The large-scale straightening and correction hydraulic press can perform cold or hot calibration on welded parts and large annular parts, restoring their shape accuracy and meeting strict assembly requirements.
